Josh Richert
Growing up with a father who was also his pastor, Josh had the privilege of hearing the truth of God’s Word on a regular basis as a child. By God’s grace, Josh came to an understanding of the gospel and his need for a Savior as a young boy. After high school, he completed a Bachelor of Ministry degree from Master’s International School of Divinity and underwent a pastoral internship at Cornerstone Bible Church from 2008-2010. After two trips to Russia, the Lord gave Josh a strong desire to serve overseas. In 2014, he moved from Wichita to the city of Kroměříž in the Czech Republic to work as an English teacher and actively serve in a local church.
In ministry, Josh currently organizes and leads a church-based English Club for teenagers and evangelistic summer camps, teaches at the Czech Bible Institute, and for the past four years has been serving as an elder in his local church, BSK Kroměříž. Blessed with a Czech wife (Eva) and two children (Ondra and Madeleine), Josh desires to stay and serve in the Czech Republic the rest of his life!
Kwacha Simwaka
Kwacha was born and raised in Malawi, Africa. At the age of eighteen, he attended a youth camp where he was saved through the preaching of the gospel. This transformation generated a desire to begin sharing the gospel with others. After realizing the call to the ministry, he pursued theological training at Christ Seminary in South Africa. Upon finishing his studies at Christ Seminary, he decided to go to The Master's Seminary for further pastoral training.
Kwacha’s ministry includes helping pastors study Scriptures with diligence and teach with accuracy, mentoring students, serving and fellowshipping with Christ Church family. While attending seminary, he served with student ministries at Grace Community Church where he met his wife, Amanda. The Simwakas have four daughters, Shirley, Charlotte, Magnolia, and Violet and a son named Reggie.
The Master's Academy International (TMAI)
TMAI’s mission is aligned with our Lord’s Great Commission in Matthew 28:19-20 to make disciples of all nations. We believe that the most strategic way to do this is to train gifted and qualified indigenous church leaders, giving them the tools they need to plant and pastor Bible-centered, Christ-exalting churches.
